Activity Overview

We plan to take a leisurly paddle down Berowra Creek from Berowra Waters Marina stopping at Twin Beaches (North) for a night of fellowship around the fire. After breaking camp on Sunday we will continue North on Berowra Creek connecting with the lower Hawksbury River and putting out at Deerubbin Boat Ramp, Mooney Mooney.

Please meet at Berowra Waters Boat ramp at 9am Saturday to be ready to paddle at 9.30am

We expect to be at Deerrubbin Boat Ramp about midday on Sunday.

This activity is open to all Adult Leaders and registered Adult Helpers.

There is also the opportunity for Leaders or Adult helpers to have their demonstrated skills recognised as Safe or Trained Participant (Scouting Skills)

Twin Beaches Campground has a pit toilet. Twin Beaches Campsite

No water is available. We will carry all our own water.

Clothing & Equipment

Please see the attached minimum requirement for personal equipment. 

All personal equipment must be waterproofed in dry bags or a large, stong garbage bag - even if you are using a barrel.

Barrels and tents are available for use from the scout hall. Please indicate if you would like to use one.

PFD's are also available in adult sizes or BYO and must be worn at all times on the water.

Canoes and paddles provided by the Scout Group.

Travel Arrangements

We suggest car pooling or arrange to be dropped off/collected at the start and finish location.
